Congratulations to our Bishop-Elect, the Rev. Elizabeth “Libby” Berman! She was elected during a special meeting of the Convention held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at ‘Iolani School in Honolulu. The election took place on the second ballot (the first ballot was canceled due to technical issues). The election was conducted in accordance with the Constitution and Canons of the Episcopal Church and the Special Rules of Order adopted for this electing convention after receiving the required majority in both the clergy and lay orders.
