We were blessed this past Sunday to have John Paul Brabant with us during our 9:30am service. His harp music added a special touch to our worship service together. He played the Little Drummer Boy, The First Noel, What Child is This and Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring.
John Paul Brabant holds degrees in Musical Studies and Composition from the State University of New York at Potsdam and New York University respectively. After graduation John Paul spent time in the LA and New York scenes until a 2012 appointment as Visiting Professor of Music at the Crane School. While there he taught coursework in music theory, aural skills, and composition. In 2018 he joined Hawai‘i Tokai International College as Music Faculty. He also is currently completing PhD work at The University of Hawai‘i in Composition.
